Download the guide Calculate the costThe Grenada citizenship by investment program was launched in 2013 when the Grenadian Parliament passed Act no. 15/2013 — the Citizenship by Investment Act.
In order to obtain Grenada citizenship by investment, applicants must either make a minimum contribution of $150,000 to the National Transformation Fund or buy real estate costing at least $220,000.
Investments in real estate can be returned to the investor after 5 years.
Investors do not need to take exams in the language or history of Grenada. They are also not required to visit the country at any stage of the program.
The applicant’s spouse, children, parents and siblings are also eligible to participate in the program.
A Grenada passport offers visa-free access to 144 countries, including the UK, the Schengen zone, Singapore and Hong Kong. Grenada citizens can also travel visa-free to China for up to 30 days.
Grenada citizens by investment often register international companies in Grenada to reduce tax payments and avoid currency control restrictions in transactions with their foreign partners. Moreover, in order to protect the privacy and security of the investor, the personal data of the beneficial owner is not entered in the company register.
Grenada passport holders can obtain a U.S. E-2 visa, which allows them to live and work in the country. For this, they need to establish or buy a business in the United States. The minimum investment amount has not been set, but usually a minimum investment of $100,000 is required. The requirements for citizens from other countries are much stricter. For example, Russian citizens can apply for an EB-5 visa for a minimum investment of $800,000.
Grenada citizens do not pay taxes on global income, dividends, interest or royalties received in other countries. There is no inheritance tax, no capital gains tax, no income tax, and no stamp duty. For companies, the terms are different, but still beneficial compared to many other countries.
Grenada passport holders can obtain a U.S. B1/B2 tourist visa, which allows them to travel around the country, attend business meetings and conferences, and be treated in American medical clinics for up to 180 days a year.

Immigrant Invest is the only licensed agent in Russia with its own compliance department.
Investors’ documents are checked by a certified anti-money-laundering officer who is familiar with all the nuances of Due Diligence checks. The Citizenship by Investment Unit informs Immigrant Invest when an application has been approved. Once the notification of approval is received, the investor must fulfill the investment option chosen — make a donation to the fund or purchase real estate — within 30 days.
The citizenship documents are prepared within 4 weeks from the date of the investment. Immigrant Invest sends the passport and naturalization certificate to the investor by courier.
